President

Founded in 1989 Truck and Equipment Sales of KC, Inc. (commonly known in the industry as TES.) has become an industry leader and is recognized as one of the main players in todays global market.  I created TES with three goals in mind:  1. To become financially independent.  2.  To build something I could call my own. 3.  To operate my business at the highest level of integrity and an excellence in customer service.  With the blessing of God, the support of a beautiful wife, a few key customers that became like family to me, and many dedicated employee's I achieved all three. 

Looking back at 1989 many things have changed.  Gone is the little building with the lawn chair and card table TES started with.  I am no longer 27, and through out the years have managed to lose most of my hair.   

One thing that has never changed is my pursuit of excellence when it comes to the operation and integrity of TES.  I have always and will always demand that you the customer is treated fairly and in a manner that I would want to be treated by myself. 

Please feel confident that any truck you buy of TES's on this site will be exactly the way we say it is.  I guarantee it!

Kenny Fromm

Used Truck Manager

I was born September 8, 1962 in Kansas City, moved to Memphis, TN for 5 years and back to the Kansas City, MO area in 1972, where I graduated from Raytown South High School in 1980. I then attended CMSU in Warrensburg, MO, where I graduated in 1984 with a BSBA degree in Marketing. In 1985 I started selling Life Insurance for Kansas City Life Ins. Co. I decided to try the Used truck business in 1991. The following year I got married and have two growing boys, Konnor and Kollin. I became Used Truck Manager of Truck & Equipment Sales in 2004.

Retail Sales Manager

In 1965 I was born in Lincoln, NE then moved to Concordia KS in 1970. After graduation from Concordia High I went to Highland Community Junior College for 2 years to play football. After a few years and a few odd jobs I started selling used trucks in 1988 for KCR International in Kansas City, Mo. Six years later I became the Used Truck Manager for KCR. Diamond international bought the company in 1999 and in The year 2000 I was promoted to the position of Corporate Used Truck Manager for all of the Diamond Company’s. In Sept of 2004 I was hired in with Truck & Equipment Sales of K.C., to become their first Retail Sales Manager. I have served for 8 years on the Truck Blue Book Advisory Board and have been a member of the Used Truck Association for the last 8 years. I have been married to my very understanding and supportive wife Carrie for 17 wonderful years. We Both enjoy hunting and fishing and taking care of our 2 yellow labs. We are members of the Grace Baptist Church in Gladstone, MO.

Hi my name is Rusty Harpham and I work in  both the retail and wholesale divisions of TES. I have been in this industry for well over 10 years. I am married to a wonderful wife and we have  two wondeful boys at home. We currently reside in Raytown, Mo. I pride myself in this business on true honesty and face to face deals. Jason Smith is a salesman here at Truck & Equipment. He has been here since June of 2007. Jason prides himself on customer service and will represent our equipment as honestly as possible. My name is James Amos I started in the trucking business almost 10 years here at Truck and Equipment Sales of KC Inc. I was hired on to help run the Fleet Purchasing department. On a day to day basis I deal with trucking companies that are wanting to sell and upgrade their fleet from one unit to multiple units. I have been successful in this business by being honest, loyal and by having longevity with one company. I have been married to my beautiful wife Connie for 13 years we enjoy spending time with our family and friends.
